The President of VMRO-DPMNE and Prime Minister, Hristijan Mickoski, announced this evening, following the conclusion of the party’s Central Committee session, the new composition of the Executive Committee, informing that MP Dragan Kovachki has been elected as the new Secretary General of VMRO-DPMNE.
In a statement to the media, Mickoski emphasized that the Central Committee had adopted a decision to elect a new Executive Committee which, as he noted, represents a combination of experience from the party’s existing structures and new кадровски solutions, aimed at forming a more efficient and stronger leadership.
“These decisions are a clear indication that the party is changing and adapting to new challenges. Our goal is to create a strong, efficient, and united organization that will offer concrete and responsible solutions to the needs of the citizens,” Mickoski emphasized.
According to him, in the new composition of the Executive Committee, alongside Secretary General Dragan Kovachki, the following members were elected: Aleksandar Nikoloski, Vlado Misajlovski, Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska, Timcho Mucunski, Nikola Micevski, Luke Galevski, Antonio Milososki, Dafina Stojanovska, Rashela Mizharhi, Vlatko Gjorcev, Kiril Petsakov, Marija Andonovska, Eli Panova, Igor Janushev, Marija Miteva, Blagoja Tashaminov, Orce Gjorgievski, Oner Jakupovski, Dragana Bojkovska, Sinisha Stojanovski, Stefan Andonovski, Filip Popovski, and Boban Nikoloski.
Mickoski added that, according to the party’s Statute, the newly elected presidents of the Youth Union, the Women’s Union, and the Veterans’ Union will also participate in the work of the Executive Committee.
Additionally, he informed that Ivica Tomovski has been elected as Organizational Secretary, remaining also as the director of the party’s Central Headquarters, while Vladimir Nelovski has been appointed as the Chief of his Cabinet.
Finally, Mickoski announced that VMRO-DPMNE will continue activities aimed at strengthening internal organization, increasing transparency, and enhancing inclusiveness in decision-making processes. In the coming period, elections for the presidents of the municipal committees, as well as new leaderships of the Women’s Union, the Youth Union, and the Veterans’ Union, are also expected.
