All for Angel” – A Charity Event for the Treatment of Angel Simonovski
Young Angel Simonovski is fighting a difficult but courageous battle with autism and developmental challenges, a diagnosis that has completely changed his family’s life. His mother, Marija, reports that Angel was developing excellently until the age of three.
“When he was little, he was developing wonderfully.” At the age of two to two and a half, he was saying ‘mom, dad, grandma, grandpa,’ counting to 10 in Macedonian and English, knew the alphabet, put puzzles together, and sang little songs. And then, at three and a half years old — everything stopped. Suddenly. Silence. “Not a single word anymore,” she recalls.
Soon, his behavior also began to change — he cried frequently, avoided eye contact, and looked away. After a series of examinations, the diagnosis was confirmed: F84 — autism.
Angel does not give up. There is now new hope for him — specialized treatments in Turkey that could significantly improve his condition. However, the costs of the treatment are enormous and beyond the family’s means, and without help, they cannot move forward.
To raise the necessary funds, Gjoko Jović and Energy Band, together with their friends, are organizing a charity event titled “All for Angel,” which will take place on Monday, January 26, starting at 7:30 PM, at Kotura Restaurant in Ilinden – Skopje. All funds raised will be allocated for Angel’s treatment in Turkey.
The treatment requires €15,000, of which only half has been raised so far, while the therapies are scheduled to begin as early as next week.
