Birth certificates, official confirmations, and health documents from Macedonia are now available online — without counters, waiting lines, or paperwork!
An increasing number of citizens are using the digitalization of government services, which also brings tangible benefits for the Macedonian diaspora. The Minister of Digital Transformation, Stefan Andonovski, reported that over 300,000 citizens use the Single Sign-On System, while more than 240,000 are active users of the National e-Services Portal – uslugi.gov.mk
Compared to 2024, when the Portal had around 120,000 users, the number today has doubled, and electronic services have increased by over 100 percent. According to the minister, these figures show that citizens want practical digital solutions that save them timе, especially those living abroad.
Andonovski emphasized that paper-based services will not be completely abolished, but the new services are intentionally being introduced exclusively online, with the aim of helping citizens get accustomed to the digital approach and more easily use government services.
Birth, marriage, and death certificates, as well as the certificate of marital status, can be obtained digitally with just a few clicks—a significant convenience for Macedonian citizens in the U.S. and beyond.
Additionally, the Health Insurance Fund has introduced new electronic services, including certificates for health insurance, paid contributions, and paid compensations, available for both individuals and legal entities.
