With a powerful message of hope, solidarity, and human responsibility, the donor evening “Threads of Light” was held at the restaurant “Vezilka,” officially marking the beginning of the work of the “Frosina Kulakova” Foundation. The event was dedicated to art as a universal language of remembrance, grief, and the pursuit of a more just society.
The entire editorial team of FROMMK.COM extends its deepest and most sincere condolences to the Kulakovi family, who, in the face of an immeasurable personal tragedy, found the strength to transform their loss into a public mission that speaks to life, responsibility, and social change.
The donor evening brought together artists, the cultural community, and citizens around a shared idea, that art is not merely aesthetics, but a powerful means of dialogue, remembrance, and social awareness. As part of the event, works by Macedonian artists from various fields were exhibited and offered at a humanitarian auction, creating a symbolic and emotionally resonant map of the contemporary creative scene.
The funds raised during the evening will be allocated to the Foundation’s programs, with a focus on providing psychosocial and legal support to families affected by traffic tragedies, as well as on awarding scholarships to young talented artists who lack the means to realize their creative potential.
A particularly powerful and emotional moment was the performance of the anthem “Frosina,” performed by Aleksandar Mitevski together with the FRIDA Choir under the direction of Suzana Turundžieva, with lyrics by Ognen Nedelkovski, as a dignified tribute and a public call for remembrance and change.
The “Frosina Kulakova” Foundation, established by the family of the tragically deceased Frosina, aims to build a long-term platform for care, justice, and social awareness, transforming personal grief into a meaningful public mission.
