The popular Macedonian singer Gjoko Jović, together with his Energy Band, is preparing for a major overseas tour. To the delight of the Macedonian diaspora, they will hold no fewer than nine concerts across Australia during February and March.
The musical caravan of one of the most in-demand Macedonian performers officially kicks off on February 13 with a major concert in Sydney. The tour will last an intense three weeks, during which the band will visit the main centers where Macedonians live, delivering unforgettable evenings filled with Macedonian melodies and their signature energy.
In addition to Sydney, concerts are also scheduled in Melbourne, Wollongong, and Perth, where the Australian tour will be rounded off on March 1 with a spectacular performance. Interest in the shows is enormous, which comes as no surprise given the band’s reputation as masters of creating an electrifying atmosphere.
New Song as a Gift for the Audience Ahead of the Tour
As an overture to what awaits the fans, the band recently premiered their latest song titled “The Woman I Love.” The track carries a special emotional weight, along with an interesting family collaboration.
The music was composed by Gjoko Jović himself, the lyrics were written by the legendary Orce Zafirovski, while the arrangement was handled by Gjoko’s eldest son, Mihail Jović. Mihail’s involvement in the project shows that talent in the Jović family continues into the next generation, giving the song a distinctive and special touch.
With new hits in their repertoire and a proven setlist, Gjoko Jović and Energy Band are ready to conquer Australia and once again prove why they stand at the very top of the Macedonian music scene.
